  • During Oct. 17 - Oct. 20, 2022, Yuzheng, Habibu and Yiren participated in the 48th Annual Conference of the Industrial Electronics Society, which is IECON 2022 Conference.

  • The Workshop on Power Electronics for Aerospace Applications (PEASA) hosted by IEEE Power Electronic Society Technical Committee 11 on Aerospace Power will be held at  University of Nottingham, UK during 18th -19th, July, 2023.

  • Dr. Tao Yang has been elected to be the Chair of Aerospace Power Technical Committee within the IEEE Power Electronic Society.

  • Dr. Tao Yang is an Industrial Fellow of Royal Academic Engineering from March 2023.

  • Dr. Tao Yang is leading the University of Nottingham Team within the Clean Aviation NEWBORN project and developing MW-level electric propulsion powertrain from Jan 2023.

​

  • Dr. Xiaoyu Lang's paper 'Stability Improvement of Onboard HVDC Grid and Engine Using an Advanced Power Generation Centre for the More-Electric Aircraft' has been awarded a Second Place Prize Paper Award for 2022 in the IEEE Transactions on Transportation Electrification.
